Shaykh Saalih Fawzaan’s Permission to Publish my Translation

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Shaykh Saalih Fawzaan’s Permission to Publish my Translation

In the year 2005 (13 years ago) I translated Shaykh Saalih Fawzaan’s Explanation of ‘The Creed of Muhammad bin ‘Abdil Wahhaab, the Imaam, the Revivalist’. I had attended all the classes explaining it orally the year before in the Shaykh’s masjid. A friend would ring me after each class asking me to explain in English what the Shaykh had said. This is what prepared me to translate the book formally when it was first published in Arabic in 1426AH consisting of 184 pages.

It was given to many people to edit and finally in 2015 it was given to Shaykh Saalih Fawzaan in his office at Darul Iftaa to ask permission to publish it. The official translator there went through the whole translation thoroughly before finally advising the Shaykh that there were no mistakes.
The Shaykh الله يحفظه acting upon his recommendation then personally signed my final copy giving permission to publish it in Ramadhaan 1439AH/2018. وما توفيق إلا بالله

Whoever does not thank the people does not thank Allaah.

Firstly all praises are for Allaah alone who enabled me to complete the translation الحمد لله.

Then I thank my dear parents for their constant support of everything I do. Allaah have mercy upon them both and grant them Jannatul Firdaws.

Then I ask Allaah سبحانه وتعالى to reward the following people with good for looking at the translation and suggesting improvements جزاهم الله خيرا :

Aboo Talhah Daawood Burbank رحمه الله  (He reviewed part of it)
Aboo ‘Abdillaah Bilal Hussain حفظه الله (extremely thorough and beneficial comments)
Ismail Mahmood Allakhami (Official translator at Darul Iftaa Riyadh)
Dr. Sheila (Parveen) Lallmamode (reviewed the English)
Umm Daawood Tasneem (reviewed the English)
Umm Zaynab Parveen (inspired me to translate the whole book)

Aboo 'AbdirRahmaan Amjad Hussain (my husband for facilitating everything)

الحمد لله بنعمته تتم الصالحات

Allaah grant us all sincerity and that we hold on firmly to the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Next step is to publish it إن شاء الله.

Here are a few excerpts:

Shaykh Saalih Fawzaan’s Permission:

The translation of which is:

In the Name of Allaah, the All Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

"All praise is for Allaah. As for what follows - based upon what the Specialised Committee at The General Presidency (of Islamic Research and Ifta) have concluded that the corrections have been done for the translation of  "An Explanation of The Creed of Muhammad bin 'Abdil Wahhaab the Imaam, the Revivalist" then I have no objections in this translation being published."
